Reijo Kangas (TEKES): Toward Cluster-Driven Real Estate and Construction

"TEKES had a relatively strong role in the creation and development of the Vision 2010 process around the early 2000s, when my predecessor Ari Ahonen was the driving force," says Reijo Kangas.

"Initially, there were several vision papers, whose substance and objectives were good but perhaps more generic by nature. Over time, the development of the Real Estate and Construction Forum (KIRA) has taken the leadership role in the implementation of the Vision process. As such, it is a good forum of diverse people and interests, but we still have to get closer to the actual industry practices and tangible realities."
