"Where are we now? The Vision 2010 process has been completed surprisingly well in many areas," contends Erkki Aalto. "First of all, the Vision has been driven by people whose own visions have been reflected in the process and who have been implementing these ideas. It has been a tool in their firm-specific vision process. Also, I believe that the process has had an impact in the industry, facilitated and intensified developments. I have not noticed any major diversions from the process. On the other hand, clearly, the
cyclical situation of the cluster is bound to have an impact. Still, the roadmap will remain as it is now."
